The amazing 4th grade students at Skyline Elementary in Stillwater, OK, worked hard to raise a total of $265 to support the Guiding Paws mission. We were honored to visit the school and share an interactive presentation to educate youth in the needs of the blind and low vision give hands-on experiences in activities like how white canes are used.
Did you know it takes around $50,000 to breed, raise, and train just one guide dog? The Skyline students’ donation helps us in our goal to help train and provide guide dogs for those in need. Every dollar counts, and we’re so appreciative of the effort Skyline Elementary students put into this cause!
